Who we are

Our History

Founded in 2007, New Way UK Consultants emerged from a vision to redefine consultancy within the construction sector, setting out to deliver client-focused expertise based on a unique combination of practical experience and thoughtful innovation.

Recognising a gap in the market for tailored, high-value solutions, the company was purposefully structured as a boutique consultancy, led by Roland Gilbert - an expert with more than three decades of experience in construction and procurement who wanted to challenge conventional thinking and unlock greater value for each client.

From the outset, New Way's core values have shaped every project and partnership. These principles inspired a business dedicated to engaging all stakeholders, fostering teamwork, and driving best practice innovations that consistently reduce inefficiency and enhance outcomes. Our approach was never to offer merely standard solutions, but to deliver measurable, lasting benefits through a commitment to transparency, ethical service, and outside-the-box thinking.

Over the years, New Way has delivered impactful results for clients ranging from local charities and SMEs to blue-chip corporates and public sector bodies. Our history is marked by transformational milestones, such as leading supply chain innovations and negotiating complex development strategies for landmark projects, all underscored by an unwavering commitment to our vision and values. Today, New Way stands as a trusted partner for organisations seeking a new standard of collaborative professionalism and visionary leadership.

OUR VISION

We aspire to be defined by excellence, fresh thinking, and unwavering ethical standards.

Guided by our values of respect, integrity, collaboration, attentiveness and entrepreneurialism, we seek to stand apart through the way we serve, collaborate, and innovate.

Our vision is to remain a consultancy of sustainable size, always learning and expanding our expertise, while offering a diverse range of services that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

We believe in creativity and innovation, not as disruption for its own sake, but as a way to bring fresh, counter-cultural approaches that unlock new opportunities and enduring impact.

Collaboration is central to our work — not simply a process, but a powerful means of bringing people together to achieve shared goals and lasting outcomes for all. In every relationship, we invest for the long term, building not only professional trust but also genuine friendships in the process.

Rooted in unshakable principles, we hold firmly to what we will not compromise. We step forward with faith and courage when bold action is required, always seeking to combine wisdom with conviction. Through these commitments, our behaviours will continue to stand out amongst our peers, reflecting who we are and what we believe in: a consultancy that puts people first, pursues excellence, and shapes the future with integrity, purpose, and hope.

Our values

At the heart of the services we deliver are the values that guide how we think, act, and serve, ensuring what we do is not only highly effective, but also principled and trustworthy. By aligning our values with our work, we give clients and partners the assurance that they can depend on us with confidence.

Respectful

We hold every individual in high regard, valuing their dignity, perspective, and contribution. We create environments where people feel heard, included, and valued, we strengthen relationships and enrich our work. Respect is not just a courtesy — it is a standard we uphold in every interaction.

Integrity

We grow trust through honesty, fairness, and accountability. We are committed to making decisions and taking actions that are consistently ethical, even when faced with challenges.

Collaboration

We believe genuine progress happens together. Working relationships built on fairness and cooperation create outcomes that are lasting and shared. By fostering dialogue, collaboration, and co-creation, we ensure that success benefits everyone involved and strengthens relationships for the long term.

We promote creative thinking, unlocking more by marrying the aesthetic, with the practical.

Attentive

We approach every project with attentiveness and insight. By listening carefully and seeking deeper understanding, we look beyond immediate needs to consider wider context, and long-term impact. This proactive awareness helps us respond with thoughtfulness and clarity, ensuring nothing important is overlooked.

Entrepreneurialism

We approach every challenge and opportunity with a spirit of optimism and belief. We look for potential where others may only see obstacles, and to bring vision and encouragement into what we do. Who we are, inspires confidence and creates momentum toward solutions that bring lasting, positive change, however impossible dreams may seem.
